This non-profit, TLCA sanctioned event is for the purpose of raising funds for Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC) and to promote camaraderie among all Toyota off-road enthusiasts. This event has historically been one of the largest gatherings of Toyota off-road enthusiasts and vendors ever held in Texas, with over 100 vehicles in attendance last year!
About TMTC

Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC) is a not-for-profit organization established in the year 1999 and is quickly becoming the leading "grass root authority" for establishing and managing off-road parks for motorized usage in Texas by All Terrain Vehicles, Motorcycles and Full Size 4x4 Trucks and Jeeps. This Texas-based organization requires membership and is family oriented with responsible members - young and old, who are concerned for safety and are aware of their responsibilities for proper land usage and natural resources - and is completely dependent on member volunteer participation.

About TLCA
History and Overview

The Toyota Land Cruiser Association (TLCA) is a 4 wheel drive organization open to all Toyota 4 wheel drive vehicles (except sedan types). This includes all models of Land Cruisers, 4Runners, and 4x4 trucks.
Over the past 25 years, the Toyota Land Cruiser Association has grown from a handful of people to a vibrant organization of more than 4,000 members world-wide who champion the history and tradition of the Land Cruiser and other Toyota 4WD vehicles.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Association is family-oriented, promotes responsible off-highway travel, and advocates environmentally-conscious multiple use of public lands.
1976-current
In the 1970's,
Bob "Snake Eyes"
Garret envisioned a national (U.S.A.) 4 wheel drive

organization devoted to the Toyota LandCruiser. In 1976, Bob's vision "took root" with the formation of the founding chapter of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association ... Toyota Land Cruiser Association Ventura County.
TLCA's growth was initially slow, with new chapters based almost exclusively in California, U.S.A.. Knowledge of TLCA spread primarily by word of mouth, TLCA events and a published newsletter Toyota Trails. Since then TLCA events have spread and are held annually throughout the US. Toyota Trails has developed into one of the finest 4 wheel drive publications anywhere.
The year 2001 marked TLCA's celebration of its 25th anniversary. It is a tribute to its dedicated members and the hundreds of volunteer leaders who have nurtured the association over the years to what it is today.

About the Toyota Trail Riders - Event Organizers

This TLCA Chapter, located in Dallas Texas, is unique in that it was formed with 12 members, none of whom own a Land Cruiser! In accordance with TLCA's by-laws, this club was formed entirely of Toyota 4-wheel drives enthusiasts…. Tacoma's, 4Runners & pickups! TLCA has sought the inclusion of all Toyota four-wheelers, as demonstrated by the expansion of coverage in the Toyota Trails Magazine.
Toyota Trail Riders came to being with a core of members of Texas TTORA, the State Chapter of the Toyota Territory Off-Roaders Association. The Texas TTORA meeting was the same night as the Lone Star Land Cruisers (LSLC), and a natural friendship formed between the clubs. Both groups wheeled together frequently, and even jointly participated in a NASCAR Truck Show held at Toyota of Dallas in June of 2004.
Eventually most TTORA members where offered membership in LSLC, but after conferring with the leaders of the LSLC, and with the guidance of Nick Stone, the idea came to display TLCA's commitment to expanding its membership base by forming a Chapter of all Toyota four-wheel drives.
