read receipts for PMs

well im not sure what u mean by tattletale.. but i use it to know when someone has or hasnt read my PM.. it can be turned off if enough people dont like it.. cancel basically means no to sending them a reciept..(meaning telling them you have read it)

i dont understand.. how is that tattletaling? I like to know when people read what i sent them so i know they got whatever im sending them, which luckly is in place since most dont even know their are PM's and i have to follow up when they dont read the PM's.. i dont see how tattletalking comes in to play..whos going around tattling on people? What are they saying?.. "so and so didnt read his PM?" Let me know whos doing that.. we will put a stop to that

but i will try to get it turned off for you, for now if you dont want a read reciept to be sent.. click cancel.. if someone sends one to you.. and u dont want them to know ur read their PM, be all secret and pretend to be ignoring them it will ask you if you want to send it back.. just click cancel.. that way who ever it is cant tattletale on ya. :-)

gees man, don't read too much into it. I just thinnk the extra clicking required to read a message is irritating, that's all. Whatever- tracking who reads what is obviously of paramount importance to you, so just forget it. I'll live :)
