Hey my name is Jon....just getting into trucks. I've always has fast cars but i got tired of that and thought i'd try something new. Just bought a '89 4runner sr5 a few days ago and thought i would post it up here.

Does anyone know this truck? It has TTR stickers on it and a 2001 ICBM dash plate and stuff. The guy i bought it from lived in Waxahachie but he said he bought it from someone in keller but its suposedly from Cali...lol Its been around. But yeah let me know.

Yeah i LOVE the truck...its in great shape and looks like he took great care of it. The guy that i bought it from didn't have it for very long and didn't put very many miles on it. I've been looking for a 1st gen 4runner for a long time and i finally found this one.

Mike took great care of that truck, He was a Lexus parts wholesaler. From what I understand that truck has had a pampered life. I'm not saying it was not used just that it was well taken care of. I thought about buying it when Mike was selling.

Yea, that Runner definetly looks like it got well taken care of! Need to get some sliders on that thing so ya don't mess up that mirror finish on the doors.

Was this the guy who moved to work on the oil rigs?
