You might want to think about putting anti-seize on the bolt threads. Otherwise they will rust over time (guaranteed), and since you'll be taking them off on a regular basis (to change the differential/transfer case fluid, etc.), it will make things a whole lot easier in the long run.

I might make it out to Bridgeport this weekend, depending on what the wife wants to do Saturday.
The skids have access holes to all the drain plugs, so I don't suspect I'll be taking them off any time soon.
That reminds me, anyone know a good place to get synthetic gear oil for the transfer case and tranny? I'm over 16k miles now, and I've heard a lot of people saying that their oil was black even after 5k.

x2 on the anti-seize. I broke the head off two bolts taking mine off last weekend.
I changed my oil around 16k and it looked normal. I did not use synthetic because I'll probably change it more often than required, especially if driving through water.
