Gear check list!

Last night while having an adult beverage I realized that I had not seen a gear check list posted on the forum.

I know we have our minimum vehicle requirements, and an extreme offroad list, but no actual packing list for a trip.

Years ago I lived by a camping/backpacking check list and it helped me keep everything organized.

Now having a trailer I sometimes forget to replenish perishables
because everything is "packed".


So... after a thorough inventory, 13 pack of beer, and a half a can of Cope. I have a barely legible 5 page list of shit that I carry with me on trips/runs.

My intention is to create a check list based off of what I carry with me. Hopefully anyone can use and adapt this list their own personal set up.

The list will be broken down as follows: (again for my personal set up)


minimum safety requirements
repair equipment
vehicle specific
carried on vehicle

Specific to me the following will be carried on a trailer

Thats not what I carry for a wheelin trip that was just everyday stuff LoL I pack extra for a trip!

For some reason, someone always forgets the condoms in that check list! After all, this is the "Safety Thread Area". Oh, and the tip of the day...stop aids, don't bend for a friend!
