x2.. That's my can of choice.

If not Rustoleum, I think TSC has some good Valspar. Just stay away from the red primer. Go with gray. The red doesn't seem to take the enamal paint very well. Or at least it didn't want to when I was painting my axle.

Use the gray for the paint you are using.
