OK...This project has been sittin in my yard for about a year.

It started with a 73 FJ40 stock everything, hard top, lots of rust but a very nice 327 v8 out of late 60s early 70s camaro.

Sold it and have ended up with a 68 FJ40 with SOA, 37s, rear disc, trac bars, full cage, power steering, stock F engine.

I also have a 78 FJ40 that I will swap the front disc brakes, and power brakes. Also, I am thinking about swapin tranny/x-case.

I went outside this morning hooked up the jumper cables, filled her up with gas and she cranked up and ran better than the last time I had her going...I kinda got excited about it again.
I have been trying to sell this thing for about 6 months to no avail. I have a guy comin by this afternoon and if he doesnt take it, I am gonna start swapping parts next weekend. Axle swap shouldnt take long. brakes should run pretty smoothly. I'll take some pics and post em up. I'll probably to dissasemble this week.

I dont have a way to post up on here. I think CK posted one once for me on a thread. I will take some more pics when I get through with a lil more and i'll try to post up. Also, Jason, I have a 2f engine in my second FJ if you need a motor for that FJ55. I don't know if you are still getting it or not but the drivetrains are very similiar in the two if you need anything for your buildup.

The weather was horrible this weekend and the lack of having a shop delayed too much progress.

I dropped the disc axle out from underneath the 78 and will begin prepping this week. I'll probably get the surface rust off and repaint is all.

Next, I need to get spring pads welded onto axle and drop axle out from under 68.
